The Blau Company, LTD is a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Tempe, Arizona. Established by Alan Blau, back in 1963, The Blau Company, LTD has been a local Tempe fixture for several decades. They provides professional accounting, tax preparation and consulting services to both private and corporate clients. In March of 2010, Aaron Blau (Alan’s son) received his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona. Today, the Blau Company is a proud, multi-generational family owned business that is nine-employees strong.

PROJECT STUDY:

The goal was to create a professional brand that conveyed strength and dependability. The client wanted a logo that had a classic feel, yet was contemporary in nature to reflect their progressive approach to accounting and taxation. They also wanted to have something that referenced their company’s southwestern roots.

Gentry Smith Design created a comprehensive logo and identity package that featured an original abstract buffalo illustration. The buffalo was the perfect choice for its southwest heritage, and its visual representation of strength and dependability. The color scheme and fonts were chosen for their timeless institutional look. The abstract buffalo illustration was inspired by a buffalo sculpture the client owned.
